Intuition Summer Festival 2009
The Intuition Summer Festival has grown into one of the top beach events of The Netherlands. Many years ago it started out as an intimate event in Scheveningen but two years ago the concept moved to the popular Bloemendaal where it grew out to be one of the busiest beach events of the summer. On Saturday the 8th of August the Intuition Summer Festival will once again become the Mecca of all Dance music enthusiasts in The Netherlands, with 13 hours of non-stop Trance and Progressive beats.
In the meantime the Intuition Summer Festival has become more than just an event. Sun, sea, the beach, friends and some of the hottest names in the scene provide a magic experience for the senses, especially when combined with more light, sound and production than ever!

Intuition head honcho Menno de Jong gives us the rundown on his favourite event: “The Intuition Summer Festival is something I look forward to all year long. It’s a unique experience to have so many different nationalities together on the beach with such an amazing atmosphere. Everybody who wonders what the Ibiza feeling is like, or has already experienced it but wants to enjoy it in The Netherlands for a change, this is the perfect opportunity!”

SOoo great, i ve been there every year and i Love it, despite of the rain sometimes. but I had planned to go this year too but because all my friends are on holiday that day so I have nobody to go with. by the way, your sixtienth episode of the podcast was so great, i loved it, youre the ultimate mixer. I hope i will find someone to go with me to the summer event because i surely wont miss it. even if i have to go alone there.

Menno! checkin out your 19th podcast now and lovin it! cant wait for this festival, coming all the way over from melbourne, australia, just in time for the beach fest! i arrive in london then settin straight off from there to amsterdam for this! your set at godskitchen last year was epic so cant wait to hear you play in bloemendaal. also so excited for andy moor, myon and shane 54, cosmic gate and wippenberg! ive been waiting too long to see them! ive also convinced my girl to come over to holland with me for this, so excited mate!

loved your set @tomorrowland last year. Have missed your sets since. This sounds like the perfect way to make it up to you and myself! I heard on your podcast that you’re giving tickets away. I could really use them for I recently bought a apartment with my girlfriend and decorating it costs me an arm and a leg!

I simply jump into my car, with my best friend and we’re going! This is only 1300 km from here – Poland ;-))
I was in The Netherlands a few times on partys and always had a good time. The atmosphere is perfect, people are very nice and know why they come there – for music! So, first stop – Intuition Summer Event – I think that will be the extremely good performance!!! I’m so glad that I can go there!
