Menno Solo 2013 Last Event Info

Menno Solo_SnapseedOn Saturday July 13th Beachclub Fuel on Bloemendaal Beach in The Netherlands will host the fourth official Menno de Jong solo event. With the big date for international Trance enthusiasts finally closing in there’s some last information that will be of use to you ahead of the event.

The weather gods have graced us with some of the finest temperatures and sunshine The Netherlands has ever experienced. Continuing what could have been Ibiza’s climate this Saturday for Menno Solo will be astonishing weather, with a predicted temperature of 22 degrees celsius. Needless to say it’s advisable to pack your bathers, shades and sunblock to make the most of your Trance experience on the beach.

The show will start at 16:00 but Fuel’s chillout area and its pristine beach will be open from the early afternoon onwards, so arrive timely and get into the beach mood with a cocktail before the music kicks off and builds to an epic close at midnight.

The minimum age for this event is 18.

Be yourself, and if you feel like it, dress for the beach.

Since your (e) ticket needs to be scanned at the entrance, please bring a printed version of it with you. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door for 20 euros each.

There will be small and large festival lockers available for 4 and 6 euros a day, plus a 5 euros key deposit.

Menno de Jong mixed the official Fuel 2013 CD. You can buy it for a special price of only 10 euros during this event.

From Amsterdam Central Station take the train to Zandvoort and continue by bus/taxi/walk (30-35 minutes, heading right when you are looking at the beach). An alternative is to travel via Haarlem Central Station and continue by bus/taxi. It is recommended to plan your journey using www.9292.nl.

Bus: From Zandvoort take bus 81 or 84 (towards Haarlem) and get out at Bushalte Strand, Overveen.

Taxi’s: Taking a taxi from Zandvoort Station to Bloemendaal aan Zee should cost around 12.50 euros (max 4 people) under normal circumstances. When the weather is extremely nice this route is prone to traffic congestion in which case you may be better off walking.
Taking a taxi from Haarlem Central Station to Bloemendaal aan Zee should cost around 22 euros (max. 4 people) under normal circumstances.
It is not recommended to take a taxi from Amsterdam Central Station, as this will be a lot more expensive than traveling to Zandvoort or Haarlem and continuing from there.

Car: For navigation please use Zeeweg 84, Overveen.

Parking: Several parking facilities are available in Bloemendaal aan Zee. There are parking machines that now accept electronic forms of payment but paying cash in coins is still a fail-safe method. Cost: 2.20 euros per hour or 15 euros per day.
