Tis the season to be jolley! No I’m not talking about winter, Christmas, Sinterklaas or whatever your holy holiday may be. If you ask me, it’s all about the summer. Warm weather, some time off from your work or school, a vacation with your friends or loved ones, outdoors festivals, cocktails on the beach, getting a tan and whatever else may make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. Christmas is great, but how on earth can it outweigh those sorts of things?

It was about time I gave you all another update indeed. My sincerest apologies for the temporary silence, although I did do my very best to keep you musically up to date with my podcasts (new one coming next week by the way!) I have been very productive though in the meantime, spending devastatingly dull days in the University library has resulted in me being one exam away from a degree, hurray! The only obstacle currently between myself and being a fulltime musician is the wonders of ‘International Marketing Research’, a lovely bit of applied statistical methods.

Musically seen I haven’t been sitting still either. My latest track with Mark Otten “Mad World” has already been popping up in playlists all over the globe, and looks like it will be out in a week or two. It’s a bit of a deeper tune than usual, which I do hope you can appreciate too! Marcus Schossow has delivered a terrific remix, check out both versions below:

On Saturday the 26th of July the ‘Intuition Summer Festival’ returns to the beautiful coastline of The Netherlands. Just outside Amsterdam Intuition will grace the lovely beach of ‘Bloemendaal aan Zee’ and expose it to the finest of the electronic dance scene effervesce.

It’s not the first time the Intuition Summer Festival has taken place here, last year top beach venue ‘Bloomingdale’ hosted Intuition for the first time with immense success. The atmosphere was claimed to rival that on the sunny isle of Ibiza, with DJs at the absolute best of their abilities and an incredible party atmosphere.

Kimito Lopez, Norway’s one and only trance master, graces the Intuition Podcast with a 30 minute guestmix (at the end of the show). Just got back from Winter Music Conference in Miami, Acapulco Music Festival in Mexico and Bal en Blanc in Montreal, it’s been an exciting two weeks.
